Running Resources
Whether you are a serious competitor, a beginner or a professional working with runners; I hope you find something useful here.
I really believe that it is worthwhile to read about what you ate involved in to improve your technique and appreciation of the details. Last year I read Born to Run which was a lot of fun. 2008 was spent working through the multitude of ideas in Advanced Marathoning by Pfitzinger and Douglas. In 2009 it was Lore of Running by Noakes which is a big lump of paper and has a more specialized audience.
This year it was Natural Running by Danny Abshire the manufacturer of Newton shoes. Beyond the texts, I am seriously interested in the research literature in fitness and physical therapy / sports medicine and chiropractic. I will attempt to bring some useful information together for you here.
